The Information and complaint of Hong Kwong, coffin carrier,

taken this day before ine, the undersigned, one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said Colony, who states :---

kong Kwong, 27, coffin carrier, residing at No. 88, Hollywood Road, Ground bloor. On the 26th, day of the End, koon (25th. March) about 5, b.M. Mong kau engaged me and two others to

carry a body from the 2nd.-floor of No. 305, Les Voeux Road to a

steam launch alongside Jardine's Wharf. He took me to the house and

pointed out the body. The photograph shown me is the photograph of

the dead ran.-1-agreed to do so. The next morning I and two..others

went to the house. One of the others got a hamper and took it into

the house. I did not go into the house but kept watch outside.

About an hour and a half after I saw the two bring the hamper down

stairs and carry it to the launch.
